Dear Friends and Neighbors,

I hope this message finds you well and filled with excitement for the future. As we embark on a new era for the Slater-Marietta Community Association, I am deeply honored and enthusiastic to assume the role as President for the upcoming term.

In 2019, the Slater-Marietta Community Association was formed to engage and represent our diverse communities where we live, work, and play through development of programs, services, and partnerships that enhance and enrich the lives of our citizens. As I embark on this role, I'm excited to focus on three main initiatives:

• Robust Membership Growth and Engagement: We will work to grow our membership and enhance engagement hosting monthly meetings the 2nd Tuesday of each Month, host community events, create community newsletters, and host the Slater-Marietta Farmer's Market each month.

• Form Committees: We will form committees to assist with consulting, planning, communicating, and engaging with community projects.

• Build Relations/Network: We will work to build a communication network with Federal, State, and

County leaders for the future sake of our communities. We deserve to be heard!

The Slater-Marietta Community Association's strength lies in its members, and your active participation is crucial. I encourage each and everyone of you to get involved, share your ideas, and help shape the future of our communities. Together, we can achieve remarkable things.
